Methodology
How we collect, check and label every fact on ChipCorridor.
Sources
We use primary sources: company websites and investor-relations pages, stock-exchange disclosures (SSE, SZSE, HKEX, CNINFO, TWSE, SEC filings), the US Federal Register and BIS, and China's Ministry of Commerce. Reputable news outlets are used only where no primary page is available, and are named as the source. When we rely on a reproduction of a company announcement (for example on CFi.CN), we say so next to the figure. We write every field ourselves; we do not copy licensed datasets.
Checking company facts
For each company we load its official website, its investor-relations pages and, where needed, its annual or interim report PDF on the exchange's disclosure platform. A listing code, headquarters or product claim is marked as sourced only when its text appears on one of those pages; we store the matching snippet and the check date. Anything not found is shown with a To verify label and is left out of page titles, descriptions and structured data. As of 2026-10-18, 82 of 83 company profiles have every field sourced.
Company pages are kept out of search indexes until the products and at least one listing (or private status) are sourced. A listed subsidiary of a tracked company is covered as a section of the parent's page, not as a separate page.
Earnings dates
- Reported
- Reported: figures published by the company
- Preliminary
- Preliminary: company guidance or flash estimate, unaudited
- Scheduled · confirmed
- Scheduled (confirmed): date announced by the company
- Expected · unconfirmed
- Expected / unconfirmed: date from a third-party calendar, not confirmed by the company
- Unconfirmed
- Unconfirmed: no reliable date found
Period labels name the actual period. A nine-month cumulative estimate is labelled "9M (Jan–Sep)", never "Q3".
Export controls
Each action cites its Federal Register document number or official notice number. Entity names, the destination country and the licence review policy in the Entity List table are copied from the rule text; anything the rule does not state is marked as not stated or to verify. The link from an entity to a company page is our mapping. This is a research summary, not legal advice or a screening tool.
Data APIs
A single API page is indexed only when at least 4 of 5 fields are confirmed on the vendor's own pages, and price, free tier and display rights are among them. A head-to-head comparison needs all 5 fields confirmed for both APIs. A field counts only when it is confirmed on the vendor's own pricing, documentation or terms page, and every page shows the check date. We do not rate or rank providers.
What we don't publish
No stock prices or quotes, no price targets, ratings or recommendations. Direction colours (green up, red down) are used only for stated changes in reported figures.
Dates and changes
Check dates and data dates are in China Standard Time (UTC+8). Every record carries a "changed" date that moves only when its published content changes, not when we re-check a source. Sitemap and structured-data dates use the changed date. Every change is listed on the Changes page and in the RSS feed.
Licence
ChipCorridor's compiled data (the tables, JSON and CSV files and the text we write) is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). You may copy and adapt it, including commercially, if you credit "ChipCorridor (chipcorridor.com)" and say whether you changed it. The licence covers our compilation only: source documents, company names and logos, and vendor terms belong to their owners.
Corrections
When a fact is wrong or out of date, we fix the record, move its changed date and log the correction on the Changes page with the date and the field that changed. We do not silently edit published figures.
Terms
Export-control and industry terms used on the site are defined, with sources, in the glossary.
